These extra services make your travel easier and more comfortable, from the moment you land to the day you fly home.

Massage in Volare

Usually with a few hours’ notice Gisele can come to Volare for a Swedish massage or a combination Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. One person at a time, usually an hour. Can arrange 2 people at a time with advance notice.

Laundry

Yamilet will do your first batch of laundry each day at no additional cost. If you need more laundry then please pay Yamilet $10 per each batch extra. Please do not attempt to use the washer or dryer without Yamilet; it’s more fragile than it looks.

COVID-19 Testing

A local Turrialba laboratory will perform the ANTEGEN test for flights to the USA. Volare will make the appointment for you (no charge) at least 3 days prior to your flight so they have the covid test kit reserved for you. The lab is open 7 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday and Saturday 7 AM to noon. The cost is in line with the test costs in San José, and results are sent within 2 hours via e-mail. For people traveling to destinations requiring the RT-PCR test, the same laboratory can take the sample and send it to a San José lab for processing; results take at least 24 hours.

COVID Testing in Volare

A lab employee will come to Volare to administer the test(s). There is an additional charge of $75 for home lab sample service, either ANTEGEN or RT-PCR.

Rental Car, Deluxe Service

A Volare employee picks up your rental car, then meets you at the arrival terminal. You load your luggage directly into the vehicle and leave immediately for Volare, saving easily an hour getting through the car rental process. Volare will prepay the rental car, which guarantees the car will be exactly what you requested. The disadvantage of this service is that Volare will be the renter, and you are added onto our rental agreement, which means we use our credit card for payment, not yours. It will have full insurance, so that when you continue your travels you are fully covered as a Named Extra Driver. When you return the car, Volare will meet you at the airport to receive it and take it back to the agency, another hour of time savings on departure.
